Warranty Policy

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

1. General Provisions

This Warranty Policy (“Policy”) describes the warranty terms applicable to products supplied by Suzhou Macxi Fluid Technology Co., Ltd. (“MACXI,” the “Seller,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

MACXI supplies industrial pumps and customized fluid handling solutions, including magnetic gear pumps, precision plunger pumps, pump head and motor assemblies, and related control systems.

This Policy applies subject to the warranty terms stated in the applicable quotation, order confirmation, or written sales contract and the mandatory laws and regulations governing the transaction.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any warranty rights, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

2. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard warranty period for eligible products is 12 months from the date of delivery.

Where the parties have expressly agreed in writing to calculate the warranty period from the date of commissioning, and the commissioning date is documented, the agreed warranty period will apply as specified in the relevant sales documents.

The applicable warranty start date and duration will be confirmed in the quotation, order confirmation, or sales contract where necessary.

Any mandatory statutory warranty or other non-excludable legal protection will apply in addition to, or instead of, these terms where required by applicable law.

3. Scope of Warranty

Subject to this Policy and the applicable sales agreement, the warranty covers defects attributable to manufacturing, materials, or failure to conform to specifications expressly agreed upon by the parties.

If a covered defect is confirmed, MACXI will determine an appropriate remedy in accordance with the applicable sales agreement and mandatory law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • Repair of the affected product or component.
  • Replacement of the affected product or component.
  • Another mutually agreed technical or commercial solution.
  • A refund, price reduction, or other remedy where required by applicable law or the relevant sales agreement.

The applicable remedy may depend on the nature of the defect, the feasibility of repair or replacement, the product configuration, and the legal requirements governing the transaction.

This warranty does not replace any mandatory rights or remedies available to the Buyer under applicable law.

4. Warranty Conditions

Warranty coverage generally requires that the product has been:

  • Installed and commissioned in accordance with the applicable instructions and agreed technical requirements.
  • Used for its intended purpose and within the specified operating conditions.
  • Operated with compatible liquids, materials, seals, and other components.
  • Maintained and handled in accordance with applicable instructions.
  • Kept free from unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair that caused or contributed to the claimed defect.

For customized products, the Buyer should ensure that the agreed technical specifications accurately reflect the intended operating conditions.

If a product is operated outside its agreed parameters, MACXI may assess whether that condition caused or contributed to the reported problem.

A failure to satisfy a warranty condition will affect coverage only to the extent permitted by applicable law and, where relevant, to the extent that the condition caused or contributed to the defect.

5. Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, this warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

  • Improper installation, operation, maintenance, or handling.
  • Operation outside the agreed flow rate, pressure, temperature, viscosity, or other specified parameters.
  • Exposure to chemicals, corrosive liquids, or environmental conditions that were not disclosed, approved, or covered by the agreed product specifications.
  • Normal wear and tear or the expected consumption of wear components.
  • Accidents, external impacts, mechanical damage, or other external causes unrelated to a covered product defect.
  • Unauthorized disassembly, repair, modification, or alteration that caused or contributed to the problem.
  • Incompatible liquids, contamination, inadequate lubrication, dry running, or other operating conditions that caused or contributed to the failure, where applicable to the product design.

Damage occurring during transportation should be reported promptly in accordance with the applicable shipping terms and carrier procedures.

The allocation of responsibility for transportation damage will depend on the agreed delivery terms, the circumstances of the damage, the applicable sales agreement, and mandatory law. Transportation-related issues are not automatically excluded from all remedies solely because the damage was discovered after delivery.

MACXI may request reasonable technical information, photographs, videos, inspection records, or the return of the affected product to determine the cause of the reported problem.

6. Warranty for Customized Products

MACXI may manufacture or configure products according to the Buyer's drawings, technical specifications, approved samples, or stated operating requirements.

For customized products, warranty coverage applies to conformity with the specifications expressly agreed upon by the parties, subject to the applicable sales agreement and mandatory law.

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the technical information and operating requirements supplied to MACXI are accurate and complete.

MACXI is not responsible for a product's failure to meet requirements that were not disclosed, were inaccurately specified by the Buyer, or fall outside the agreed specifications, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

However, this section does not exclude MACXI's responsibility for manufacturing defects, deviations from agreed specifications, or other matters for which MACXI is responsible under the applicable sales agreement or mandatory law.

Any project-specific warranty conditions should be confirmed in writing before production begins.

7. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, the Buyer should contact MACXI by email as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering the problem.

Please provide the following information:

  • Order number, invoice number, or product model.
  • A description of the problem and when it was first observed.
  • Photographs or videos showing the affected product and any visible damage.
  • Relevant operating conditions, including liquid type, viscosity, temperature, flow rate, and outlet pressure, where applicable.
  • Installation, maintenance, or test records, if available.

Please send the claim to either:

MACXI will review the information and may request further details, technical testing, an inspection, or return of the affected product where reasonably necessary.

Please contact MACXI and obtain written instructions before shipping a product back for warranty inspection or repair. This helps ensure that the correct return address, packaging requirements, and shipping arrangements are followed.

The assessment and any proposed remedy will be handled in accordance with the applicable sales agreement and mandatory law.

8. Warranty-Related Costs

The allocation of costs associated with a warranty claim will depend on the confirmed cause of the problem, the applicable sales agreement, and mandatory legal requirements.

  • Confirmed covered defects: MACXI will generally bear reasonable repair or replacement costs for which it is responsible under the applicable warranty and sales agreement.
  • Problems not covered by the warranty: The Buyer may be responsible for reasonable inspection, repair, replacement, or transportation costs where the issue is not covered and such charges are permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
  • Uncertain or disputed causes: The parties may agree on an inspection or diagnostic process to establish the cause and determine the appropriate allocation of costs.

Any shipping, customs, or other cross-border costs associated with warranty returns should be discussed with MACXI before shipment.

Nothing in this section requires the Buyer to bear costs that MACXI is legally required to pay under applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MACXI will not be liable under this Policy for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits or equipment downtime, where such liability may lawfully be excluded or limited.

Any limitation of liability relating to product defects, warranty remedies, engineering services, or commercial transactions will be subject to the applicable sales agreement and mandatory law.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, breach of non-excludable statutory obligations, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10. Final Provisions

MACXI may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in products, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with the applicable revision date.

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed by the parties, changes to this Policy will not retroactively alter the warranty terms of an existing sales contract.

Any project-specific or product-specific warranty terms expressly agreed upon in writing will apply to the relevant transaction, subject to mandatory law.

Warranty claims will be assessed individually based on the product, the reported issue, the applicable documentation, and the relevant contractual and legal requirements.
